Description
This project seeks to improve patients’ and researchers’ capacity to engage as partners in research projects. We will first conduct video-recorded interviews with researchers and with patients who have been involved in projects that adopted a researcher-patient partnership approach. Based on these interviews, we will produce a short film highlighting the benefits and challenges of partnership. We will also develop two online training modules – one for researchers and one for patients – to help each of these groups engage more effectively in future projects characterized by researcher-patient partnership.
