Description

Elise Kammerer joins Diabetes Action Canada as the Project Lead for the Connect1d Canada platform, and is based at the Alberta Diabetes Institute at the University of Alberta. Elise holds an MA and DPhil from the University of Cologne and an MPH from the University of Manchester. In her prior work, Elise codeveloped knowledge mobilization and improvement initiatives for a national Canadian knowledge mobilization network dedicated to improving children’s pain. She also worked as an implementation scientist to improve care for children with medical complexity. Elise is passionate about equity in research and practice, as well as codesigning research and improvement projects with people with lived experience.
