Description
Martha St Pierre, RN, BScN, CDE is a Chronic Disease Consultant with the Prince Edward Island Department of Health and Wellness since April 2023. Prior to this recent employment, Martha was the Provincial Diabetes Clinical Lead for Health PEI for 14 years. Martha holds a current Canadian CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator) certificate.
In her role as Chronic Disease Consultant, Martha is involved in planning, program development, innovation, policy, evaluation and monitoring processes related to the prevention (primary and secondary) and management of chronic disease within the department.
Outside of work, Martha enjoys quilting and reading. Martha lives in Stratford, Prince Edward Island with her husband Robert and her beloved dog Georgie.
