Description
Saania is currently pursuing an MD at the Cumming School of Medicine, building on her background in community health sciences and biomedical sciences. Her masters degree focused on qualitatively exploring the acceptability of food prescription programs from the perspective of people with type 2 diabetes experiencing household food insecurity. Her current research is primarily centered around art-based methods and community-based participatory research with people who have diabetes and who are experiencing homelessness or other social disadvantages. In her free time, she enjoys playing field hockey and catching up on her favourite TV shows.
