Description
She is an endocrinologist and PhD candidate in clinical epidemiology in the Clinician Investigator Program (CIP) at University of Toronto. Her thesis focuses on weight trajectories in younger versus older adults in Ontario and the cardiometabolic consequences of these weight trajectories using large primary care and health administrative databases. She has received research funding from the Canadian Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism Dr. Fernand Labrie Fellowship Research Award, the Clinician Scientist Training Program at University of Toronto, and Women’s College Research Institute. She is currently part of the Women in Medicine Scholarship with the American Diabetes Association. Her goal is to conduct future observational cohort studies and pilot trials to examine the effects of weight lowering therapies on patient oriented outcomes.
