Description
Sonia Meerai is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University and Lead Qualitative Researcher in the Program for Health System and Technology Evaluation, led by Dr. Rac, at Toronto General Hospital Research Institute. She is completing her Ph.D. in Gender, Feminist and Women Studies at York University. Her main research areas include understanding intersecting impacts of health tracking applications, AI-enabled technologies, and at-home health management technologies. Her approach centres community engagement, compassionate care and equity.
