Professor Sean Dinneen is an endocrinologist in the west of Ireland who starts the talk with some background on their young adult population living with type 1 diabetes, and how their group set out to re-imagine care in their clinic in an effort to improve outcomes. Dr. Eimear Morrissey, a researcher in the Health Behaviour Change Research Group, takes over describing the D1 Now Intervention program that was then developed, and their Young Adult Panel who works with the research team.
