Zahida Rahemtulla

Zahida is excited to be part of the Research to Action Fellowship. The T1D community has helped her immensely in her own journey, and she enjoys participating in T1D events and initiatives in BC and Ontario. Zahida teaches in the Community Development and Outreach Department at Capilano University and she also works as a professional playwright. Zahida grew up in Burnaby, and later spent years living in Metchosin, Abu Dhabi, and Toronto.
