Anna is a member of the Calgary Diabetes Advocacy Committee (CDAC) and has been living with type 1 diabetes for 33 years. She is a passionate advocate for equitable diabetes care, diabetes education, and raising awareness of the stigma experienced by people living with diabetes who are facing homelessness or navigating the shelter system.
